Job costs from ServiceTitan or Housecall Pro don't line up with your books
Techs enter parts and labor against the wrong job, or a call gets closed out with the material cost left blank because the truck stock was never counted. When that data flows into QuickBooks, the job comes out looking more profitable than it was, or a service agreement job shows a loss because the free maintenance visit was never coded right.
Owners end up pricing the next similar job off numbers that were wrong from the start, because nobody reconciled what ServiceTitan says a job cost against what actually hit the bank and the truck inventory.
Underpriced install and replacement jobs bleed a few hundred dollars each, and across a hundred jobs a year that is real profit walking out the door, plus a bank loan application built on a P&L that overstates margin can get declined once the lender's underwriter starts asking questions.
