High Velocity Accounting is a CPA firm built for the trades. We handle bookkeeping, income tax, and managerial accounting for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical contractors and home services companies across the United States. Our clients run crews, trucks, and service boards, and they need books that keep pace with the work instead of arriving three months late. We live inside QuickBooks Online, ServiceTitan, and Housecall Pro, so job costing, department margins, and technician profitability come out of the same system your dispatchers already use. Most owners come to us somewhere between their first million and five million in sales, when a bookkeeper who works off bank statements stops being enough and the numbers have to start driving decisions about pricing, hiring, and expansion.
Brett Neal, CPA started the firm in 2013 after watching the same pattern repeat with contractors: an owner would get a return back in March with a number on it, ask what it meant, and get an answer that explained the number without explaining the decision. Seasha Neal, CPA joined as partner and brought the tax planning practice with her. The team is four accountants today, and the founding idea has not changed.
We work almost entirely with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical contractors and home services companies, most of them between their first million and $5 million in sales. That concentration is deliberate. A firm that has closed the books for dozens of service businesses knows things about deferred membership revenue, technician-level gross margin, truck and equipment fleets, and getting ServiceTitan or Housecall Pro data into QuickBooks Online cleanly that a generalist has to look up.
